"Roots" is a small illustration series exploring the feeling of belonging and homesickness. In the shadows of beautiful Savannah oaks I see reminders of the trees surrounding my house back in Ukraine. My roots there grow deep, but my new home is an ocean away. Can I come back?
P.S. These illustrations were created before russian invasion to Ukraine, and they were heavily influenced by the news of russian troops gathering at the border.
